Just finished...

(In Dreams...9x12 Mixed Media)

Artisticly speaking...I have been struggling lately. I sit to work, and find myself just flooded with emotions, and thoughts...and then a hollow frustration with myself. I know, often I don't heed my own advice. :) So, as I put the finishing touches on this piece this morning, there came a sigh of relief...and then the calm...and here comes that word again...a renewed sense of 'hope'.

Much love...

Celeste, your beautiful woman looks as if she is cocooned in a womb of creative energy. I'm guessing you've broken through some kind of barrier.

She is beautiful! I think there may just be something in the air lately - so many of us questioning & struggling a bit - Julochka talked about it, and Robin over at Bird Tweets, and me too. But it looks as if the air has cleared over at your place - Congratulations!

Celeste, this is a wonderful painting. It is filled with 'Calm'. Congratulations on finishing a piece, that is a good feeling. I have been working on a Valentine idea for a week and I have had to work it.... this, nope, that, nah and then an idea that thrills me, then the next step nah, well maybe. Maybe something is in the stars.
Sending you my heart on tonight's bright Venus.

Looking at her, one would never guess you were struggling with your art.
Simply beautiful, serene, and oh so peaceful looking.
May she embody "hope" for you & your muse.

So lovely! Oh my, she's so wonderful. Sounds like your energy is waxing and waning.

Really? Polar fleece works like a swiffer? OMG, that rocks! I am totally going to try that, fabulous idea, thank you so much!

I'm sorry that you are struggling...but still sense "hope". Is the book club helping...?

Your painting zinged me Celeste! Often when I connect to Mother Earth, I send my roots (and myself) down into Her earth womb and sit to inhale her serenity and centeredness. This images perfectly reflects what I feel in those moments...wow!

Leaping,
Lil

Celeste, you are so creative and talented, and just plain wonderful. If you ever make it back to the island, I would so love to connect with you over a cup of tea.

I am filled with hope these days too. It's going to be a good year I think. :)
