~Softly Unfocused...
I've been missing blogging lately...missing visiting and commenting at my favorites...but right now I am completely entangled. During the day I am going about my usual routine...playing with my little ones...running my household...squeezing in time to study, and practice my yoga. Everything, is the same, and yet, completely different. I can't really find the words to explain this sensation any better...
I remember when I was reading the discription for this course I am taking. Right there in black and white it said it would be a...'profound, personal experience...'. Um....yes, yes, it has been...It has also awakened me to the fact that this is only the very first baby step. I love learning...learning about myself, about others...My body has become so much stronger, but it's the meditation that's been the real kicker...again, it's something that's hard to explain. If you do it, you know what I mean...
I can feel the little prickles of change coming. Spring just around the corner...my son's hockey season finishing...my course finishing...free time...time to plan, to dream...how do I want to teach...where do I want to teach...what do I want to study next...(herbalism, I think.:-) Gardens to get ready...a greenhouse to be build and planted...a house that desperately needs a little work...canvases that need to be painted...camping...hiking...friends to meet...journeys to take...You know how it is, I'm sure you've got a list a mile long too...
All this truly has me feeling happily...softly unfocused...:-)
Namaste....xo

have a lovely day!
Somehow when I come here I am always made serene by your words. I think you would be a terrific friend to have. So much wisdom and love for self, family and nature always reflected in your words. You're beautiful, mama, inside and out.

Happy hopeful Spring to you my beautiful friend!
I have been gone from here for far too long, but all the while I was reading your heartfelt post, I was nodding my head and so completely understanding all that you shared.
It never ceases to amaze me how very far we as women can be stretched... great for yoga! (smiling)
May this Spring find your heart happy, your mind clear, and your spirit soaring...
so much love to you my friend, I've missed you!
xoxo

It's nice to come here and read that I'm not the only one feeling "unfocused". I have so much to do as well, with the beginning of spring, that I'm feeling overwhelmed and not really accomplishing anything.
Great post.
softly unfocussed...I love that.
I have missed blogging too, and feel as though I am finding my way back...slowly. Your calming space is always a lovely place to come back to.
xoxo
I'm just starting to understand with my heart what you are saying, but totally get it with my mind--and maybe it's the anticipation that is my obstacle now.
I just started making meditation a serious practice.
I also have been reading Stephen Cope's book The Wisdom of Yoga. Have you read that yet? It's a fabulous book about Yoga--but more specifically meditation. You might like it.
Peace & Love.
